Sionic Mobile Launches Free Online and At-Table Order and Pay Service for Family Restaurants

ATLANTA--Sionic Mobile is pleased to announce it now offers small, family restaurant owners a free ordering service to help increase takeout sales and allow dine-in guests to order and pay for their food from their mobile devices without the need for an app. The new service uses Shift4’s secure payment platform and works with any point of sale (POS) system.

Customers can access the digital menus through QR codes at the table and restaurants’ websites and Google My Business Profile pages using Google Search and Maps. Sionic’s free ordering service replaces phone orders and allows guests to order and pay for their food at-table so servers can focus on providing excellent service.

Restaurants simply complete a merchant application with Shift4 for payment processing and can choose to keep their current processor for traditional POS transactions. All Shift4 merchant accounts also come with a free SkyTab mobile device for contactless card payments.

“This new free service helps small restaurants compete head on with larger chain restaurants,” said Ronald Herman, Sionic CEO. “Our support staff creates restaurants’ digital menus. The free service supports no-wait takeout and self-order dine-in, increases sales, reduces costs and does not interfere with delivery company solutions.
